The embed widget puts the same word finder that runs on our home page onto your page. A visitor types the letters they have, including question marks for blank tiles, and gets every playable word from a 172,823 entry dictionary with Scrabble and Words With Friends scores, without leaving your site. You add it by pasting one small snippet, and the generator on this page writes that snippet for you.
How it works on your page
The snippet is a single script tag. When your page loads, it inserts a compact frame containing the tool, plus a visible credit line underneath. The heavy part, the word list itself, never loads with your page. It is fetched in small pieces only after someone starts typing, so the widget costs your visitors almost nothing until they actually use it. You can fix the tool to one word length for a specific lesson or article, and pick a light or dark look. If an option in your snippet is misspelled, the widget shows a clear error instead of silently guessing, so you will always know your embed is set up the way you intended.

The widget is free for any site, personal, school, or commercial. In exchange, the snippet includes a Powered by link back to our home page, and the deal is that the link stays visible where the widget is.
